I know you asked to close this thread but I wanted to point out one other thing.
Supposing someone bred their dog and had puppies. Would you in your wildest dreams expect them to give them away just so they were sure they went to good homes because there's so many people who would provide a good home, but can't afford to buy the puppies? I think it's sort of the same thing in this situation.
And honestly, if you can't afford the puppy, would you be able to afford all the care? Toys, special food, supplies etc...These little guys aren't exactly low maintenance and when something happens to them it usually ends up being VERY expensive.
