We have a queen-size bed & one side is right up against the wall so I was thinking about sleeping on that side & put her between the wall & myself. Do you think that would be okay?

I probably won't sleep tonight, anyway, though & I didn't sleep last night - ugh.
I would think it you put her between you and the wall (and maybe on a pillow) she will be okay. Chances are she isn't going to be moving very much!!

Technically, there isn't vet staff overnight. Our vet also has a kennel and there is a technician who lives in the apartment above the clinic/kennel who does checks every couple of hours through the night. Angel has her bed, blanket and a chew toy (though I don't think she'll be chewing much) with her. I also took her yogurt and dinner and they are in their fridge. I also paid extra for a special IV to keep her well hydrated with added dextrose soe she won't get hypoglycemic while waiting for surgery. I'm still undecided if I'm going to see her this afternoon. When I did that with Sissy it was even harder to leave her.............
