Oh man! You are NOT a nerd. We had to leave Rowdy with my daughter just a couple of months after we got him - a pre-paid vacation, planned before we even thought about getting Rowdy. I was a total wreck and freak - I did exactly what you did - I called every day - sometimes several times a day.
You know what! He did GREAT!
