 Getting her spayed
I have a 4.5 Yorkie. She is one year old and has had one period. I need to get her spayed and I am so afraid because she is so little. I do not want her to accidently get pregnant. I had my Poodle spayed and there was no problem-she is 10 lbs. We lived in a different city at the time and had a wonderful vet. But Kiwi is so tiny and very small framed. I like our vet but his facility is not great-very minimal and for some reason that bothers me for her surgery. He is a very knowledgable vet. and other than his facility he has been wonderful. That is our big dilemma-my husband does not think it is a problem and really likes the vet. But I am not comfortable with the office or waiting room-it makes me question what the surgery room is like. If anyone is in the Charlotte NC area, can you recommend a vet?
