But JeanieK basically gave you the answer. The piebald gene is in many yorkie lines; but because the white is a fault in the US, many early yorkie breeders spayed females or lines producing white. Those that didn't created what is now called the Parti here in the US.
Mr. Biewer's yorkies produced the piebald puppies now called Biewers and they are german registered. If the dog is a Biewer it is related to Mr. Biewer's original dogs. |
