Oh in that case the problem is probably just he is still young and being a puppy. Although Katia has stopped pooing/peeing anywhere but on the pads we simply don't give her a chance to. I think your dog is almost there but he has to be confined so he doesn't go on the carpet. Give a puppy a chance to go on the carpet and it will. Also you have to make sure you correct him when he does go anywhere but where you want him to. I am far from an expert but this is what worked for me. Most of this info I got from The Evans Guide for Housetraining Your Dog. Works like a charm.
