Hi there... Simba just got his rabies vax yesterday. He turned 19 weeks yesterday and weighs 4 lbs. Sometimes they are lethargic afterwards, but Simba didn't miss a beat! He was a busy-bee the rest of the day. I had to postpone the rabies vax for 2 weeks because his doctor wanted to wait that extra bit of time. She checked his teeth & all his baby teeth are still in, so we will also wait until he's about 7 months to neuter. At that time, she'll pull any baby teeth that are still in. Although, I've been in the field for many years, when it comes to my own, I'm just as nervous as any other doggy-mom. The best for you is to ask your vet when to do the rabies based on your little ones individual development. Talk soon... take care
