I live in FL, fleas are a problem. Tricksie rarely goes outside because she wants to eat lizards or anything that moves. I tried Advantage and she had fleas, switched to Frontline and still find one or two once in a while. My husband brought home an Australian Sheppard that was in the garage for a while until I found fleas, bought Raid flea bombs and after 3 treatments they were gone, needless to say, that dog is in a dog house outside, only at night, she goes to work with my husband every day. Also, Raid flea killer plus spray for carpets and furniture, in a purple can, works wonderful. Luckily most of my home is tiled. It is safe for kids and pets but I always let the area dry out for several hours before entering.
