The rabies shot can be given to pups w/ at least 120 days old and he/she must weight 1kg or more... That's how it's done over here...

But you know what, my older kid Maggie is 1 yr old and I've never gave her this rabies vaccine, and probably I'll never do w/ neither one of my furkids(Maggie and Hannah)... The reasons are bc they NEVER go near stray dogs, there's NO contact AT ALL w/ rats or filthy creatures, they live an apartment and they are not allowed to go near some dogs that I think are not friendly...

The rabies shot can cause a bump where it was injected and cause limping or pus or anaphylactic reaction...

But sometimes nothing happens...
