Last night we were sitting in the LR watching TV and Dudley wanted to go downstairs and we told him he didn't need to go down there since we were all up here. We put the bunny outside, so he can't bark at her, she was in the basement. Anyway, after sniffing at the door for awhile, he histed (sp) his leg on the wall BY the basement door uggggg. So I guess he had to go potty but he didn't go to the back door and it could have been since we were all in the LR.
He didn't go to the front door either. Hubby has seen him poop downstairs but now he is wondering if he is peeing down there too and we haven't seen him. I think if we would have let him downstairs when he wanted to go down, he would have peed down there and not on the floor up here by the basement door.
We do have a puppy pad down there but we haven't seen him use it. Do you think he is used to going in a basement? The breeder said she had a puppy pad in the back room, but said nothing about going in the basement.
