My husband built stairs up to our bed for Sandy and she always uses them. She's not as little as some of your Yorkies, but she has a bad leg, so I want to make things as easy on her as possible. My husband actually got some more carpet and padding today to build a more sturdy version since it will have to accomidate two dogs soon

I figure it's better to be safe than sorry, I'm really protective of Sandy, I won't let her jump on or off the couch or bed, I'm lucky, she waits for me to lift her onto the couch and uses her stairs for the bed. Wow, you can tell how spoiled my girl is!
