I've been told by some I shouldn't pet it while it's laying on me or next to me....and I've been told by some that I SHOULD pet it. I tend to try to pet it and scratch it behind the ears quite a bit when it's near me....I think ignoring it wouldn't help matters. |
But by ignoring him you are not threatening, so that's OK. You definately don't want to reach out and just grab him if he doesn't like it. Try luring him over with something he can't resisit.
