My mom's best friend is dating this guy with a 5 year old female Yorkie named Libby. He has to get rid of her because he isn't home a lot, and the only reason he has her is because of his divorce. Well, my mom and I really want to take Libby for him. She isn't litter trained though, so she will have to go outside unless we can litter train her. Anyway, my stepdad has completely rejected the idea. We already have two male Yorkies, and he doesn't want another one. How can my mom and I convince him to let us take her? We are going to meet Libby ASAP, not sure when though. I have never had a female dog, and I would love to have Libby. How can I make my stepdad feel the same way?
