A few weeks after my grandmother died, I competed in a state spelling competition. I was upset because I'd wanted my grandmother to be there and I wasn't concentrating very well. (My grandmother taught me to read and write, starting at age 2-3, and always kept after me about spelling and penmanship, etc.) All of a sudden, the side door to the room opens and then closes. It was an unseasonably warm day with NO WIND and this was a heavy door! My mom and I just looked at each other and smiled. I had the resolve I needed -- and WON! |
Nicole,
That's a beautiful story and one I truly belive in. When my youngest daughter
got married 10yrs ago it was a very clear day in Dec. She had a Christmas
wedding and was wishing for snow

No snow in sight but when they
were exchanging rings the snow came down very lightly which we could see through the windows and stopped as soon as it started. We new Daddy was there and we were all crying.
