I searched lists of names. First, I tried to go with words from various languages that related to yorkie traits, but that didn't work for me. I just kept looking. Every time I saw a name I liked, I jotted it down. I asked people what they thought of this name or that. Finally, I just settled on Gizmo for him. It just seemed to fit him. (I knew him before I named him since I was visiting the breeder once a week for several weeks.)

The interesting thing about his name is that AFTER I got him and researched the pedigrees of his parents is that at least four of his male ancestors were Gizmos. I thought that was pretty cool!

So, you might want to look at the pedigree and consider a variation of a family name.
