I don't really know what the answer is. My Yorkies are one person dogs and family dogs. TJ bonded with me as his mama and Riley bonded with my mom and his mama, but they love my brother and my step dad. Maybe you should just try to get Maddy used to the other members of the family slowly. Like sit on the ground with her and your husband and let them get to know each other while she still feels safe because you are there. When you are holding Maddy, let your kids and your husband pet her so she feels safe in your arms. I hope everything works out!
