Ah yes... I rang my vet on Sunday for a similar reason... My little Lilly was coughing and it sounded like she was chocking. It appears that our carpet fluffs a lot and she finds the fluff fascinating and so has inhaled and swallowed a bit too much of it. She now no longer chews the carpet but occasionally still coughs. We're getting a new carpet now

Yep. I was just thinking the same thing earlier tonight. They are like having a perpetual infant!

Fortunately, it gets better. I only worry 90 percent of the time now.
