an update. i went back to the crate. and i changed her food to dry food as she seems to be having trouble holding her pee. i thought the wet food was a problem for her.
for a day and a half there has been NO ACCIDENTS (pray to God this will continue!).
a question... after how long of no accidents in the house while supervised and no accidents in the crate unsupervised is a dog able to not be in the crate? should she get 'upgraded' to a small area in the house like an exercise pen or my kitchen again? and then does she get 'upgraded' if she does good to the whole house? should she have puppy pads after she leaves the crate? what i am trying to say is right now she is learning to hold it. after the crate, does she go on pads?
just interested in the logistics of this. |
