Try the name brand (Goody) baby barrettes- the kind that come in all shapes, in pastel and bright colors, they're plastic and sold at the drugstore in a pack of like 25 for $2.
We use those, and they work great in both Emma and Milli's hair!
I've also purchased these TINY claw-type clips in bright colors from the baby section at Target-I think they were 12 for $3 or so. They're a little tiny claw that you pinch and put in the hair. It works best to gather the hair and twist a little so it's easier to put the clip in, and so the hair stands up the way you want it. I use these on both my furgirls, and as they get bigger and get more hair, you can use the little ones for pigtails, and graduate them to the larger clips and bows. |
