 Maddy doesn't like anybody but me
My yorkie Maddy doesn't like anyone but me. My hubby is starting to take it personally. He is very gentle with her and has never yelled at her or anything. She doesn't like my kids either. If they come close to her she runs away, but she comes to me. If I hand her to my hubby, she used to fight it, but atleast now she doesn't do that, but you can tell she can't wait to get put down. If he is in bed, she licks his face like crazy, but out of bed it is a different story. Is this normal for the yorkie breed. Somebody told me that they are one person dogs, but I have searched the net about their personalities and have never read that. Hopefully with time this will change. I play with her and my hubby says he wants to play with her like that, but she will not play with him. Other than that, I think she is a perfect dog (well as close to perfect as you can get without being potty trained yet, ha ha).
