It started a few days after I got him, and when I took him to the vet, they gave him Clavamox for 10 days thinking it might be kennel cough. It seemed to have let up a bit, but 3 weeks later, he's still doing it.

What I want to know, is how to tell the difference between kennel cough, collapsed trachea and reversed sneezing? Do they all sound / react the same? Is it just something you have to guess at, or are there certain symptoms for each ?

As far as I know, he's never had a collar on or had any accidents that might have hurt his little neck...
wow ur story is almost like mine .. how old is your pup? mine is 4 months old he was giving Clavamox and has been off it for aobut 3 weeks now but he coughs occasionally... its so strange .. dont know what it can really be.
