When I went away for the week and I had my pups stay with someone else I left instructions too. I pretty much said to not leave anything around that could get chewed bc it WILL get chewed and its not the dogs fault. (warn them that they need to watch what they do too) and said only to give them food & treats that I packed for them. Fresh water everyday. Teach them HOW to put the harness on so they do it correctly. I find it easier to make sure they are bathed and brushed before you go so your sitter does not have to do it while you are gone. But I dont know how long you'll be gone for. I was only gone for a week. I packed up their favorite toys, bed and gates! OH I also warned them about feeding table scraps, that onions and chocolate are poisonous. I left them the emergency vet #s that is closest to THEIR house since my dogs were at their house.
Oh its so hard leaving your pup for any length of time! good Luck! Im sure your sitter will do fine!
