i had an AKC stud. i was very picky about the bitches he studded. i had a woman who sent me a photo of her girl she wanted to breed. OMG she was stunning. the only problem she was CKC. i contacted ckc and they were able to make kirby a dual registry. so he was ckc and akc.
now akc will not do this.
with that being said, if there is a willing stud owner that will add the ckc, then you are good. now your female must be of good quality standard and healthy.
