A schedule, if you have one. Be specific if your dog has a routine.
Any special safety concerns, ie. Make sure basement door stays closed. Check latch on back gate. There is a huge, mean dog next door, etc.

If the friend is keeping rather than watching at your house, make sure you have familiar bedding and favorite toys on hand. Might also want to throw in a sweatshirt or T-shirt you've worn to comfort them. (My guy sleeps on one of my pillows when I'm on a business trip.) |
