lucynfred--I apologize! I misread. Yes, this is an awful thing...just a few things that tipped me off about this woman from her website was the agregious contract that she gets from people, and the fact that she asked for a cashier's check or money order to be mailed to a PO Box. Few people who had a good "product" would request that, plus, it's a way for her to hide her money from the IRS. It's as good as cash. Also, there are other people who have websites dedicated to how awful this woman is (
www.yorkiepup.com). She even goes on to talk about what to do if your "teeny tiny darling" acts drunk!! Argh! I'm so angry at her!! If she's got so many customers, how is she able to fill her orders so quickly unless she's overbreeding?!! Those poor little yorkies she's selling...I hope that this woman is put in jail because she's really sick. Please buy your yorkie from a reputable breeder, or adopt one from a shelter. I wouldn't buy from yorkiepup.com, either, only because any reputable, honest breeder would never sell "teacup" yorkies. Consider checking the AKC website on how to get in contact with reputable breeders in your location. I'll be honest, I got Archie from a pet place in NY, but I found out that they got him from Lake Country Pets. I wasn't sure what Lake Country Pets was, but I now know it's a broker. So I called and found info about the breeder, and that the breeder only breeds yorkies, only a few at a time, etc. I'm not sure if Archie came from a puppy mill...I hope not, but I have him now, and he's healthy and happy and the best ever. Even to save yourself from the craziness of trying to track down where your puppy actually came from, like I did, it's best to go straight to a good breeder...
