No he didn't run a thyroid test on me but he said since my son has a sore throat the scratchy feeling may be the start of a sore throat or some drainage. He looked in my throat and said it was fine and felt around my neck and had me swallow. He asked if I have ever had my thyroid tested and I said that I hadn't and then he suggested that if I don't lose the scratchy feeling in a week to call him back and he would run a sonogram of my throat to see what is going on.
