I'm not childless, i have a wonderful 6 year old son, but I do not plan on having anymore kids - if you hit perfection the first time, why try for more!!!
After I lost my dog last year, and my son started to get older and not need me for basics like making a sandwich or brushing his teeth, I felt very sad, like I wasn't needed anymore. With a 6 year old, this is silly I know. After I got Chewy, he was like a new baby for me and he has brought me immense joy. I love taking care of him and I love it when he's trying to do something and can't, he just looks up at me like Mommy help me! He brings me such happiness - except when he poos on my rugs.
