Well, then the rehoming is not an option, I take it? Then you might as well get used to the situation and try to be a good "daddie" to your little Yorkie pup...
As for the communication with a newborn child... it's kinda difficult too... you will experience that when you walk up and down all night and try to figure out why he/she is crying... and crying... and crying...... until you feel "rehoming" might be a good idea...
