A good collodial silver is awesome for curing any infections. Dont buy the cheap one made from bovine products. You can find one the the health store. You can also wash it out with saline solution.

I should add to keep an eye on it. One of the puppies I sold to a girl had some gunk in her eye so she took it to the vet and he said she had started to get an absess behind the eye because of a bit of bacteria that lodged itself in and started to grow. Good thing she had it checked when she did. Hopefully it will be better with the eye drops and antibiotics.
