I am a bit nervous but really want it done. I am OK with the MVD. He is thriving on the Royal Canine Hepatic LS diet (dry) and his fruits and veggies.

Yes, our yorkie with MVD was neutered and he did fine
Just be careful with the pain medicine. Many times they give Rimadyl after surgeries for pain, and this medicine almost killed my Miko...It's been known to cause liver failure, and on a dog who already has a compromised liver, I don't think it's safe.
