I read your entire post, and you didn't call him by his name once. Its "the dog" or "it". That's why he haven't bonded with you, you are not giving him any respect. I suggest taking him for walks, just the both of you. Play with him 1 on 1, teach him a trick, all of these activities helps you to bond with your baby. Hope this helps.
