Hi welcome to YT. I started training by little boy to go outside at 12 weeks. I bought some potty bells and hung it on the door. Then for the next week every 3 hrs i took him down stairs rung the bell and said "go potty" , when he did thing business i gave him a treat, said "good boy" and made a big deal about it. In 2 weeks he and his sister rings that bell like its going out of style.
. Honestly the only time they may have an accident, is when its storming outside and they miss the pee pad
