I had a rough time wee wee pad training my Yorkie, Katie. (Potty training my Maltese, Codie, was a breeze!) Katie was constantly peeing and pooping on my leather couch. What I eventually did was put up a baby gate to block her (and Codie) from going in the living room during the day while I am not home. My dogs do not have complete reign on my house when I am not home. I always leave the bathroom and bedroom door closed. I was allowing them into the living room when I was not home up until Katie started leaving me little stinky presents on the couch. But now Katie is totally potty trained - thank god!

I would recommend that you get her an exercise pen - I am not a big fan of crates. An exercise pen will give your baby lots of room to move around w/out having the run of the house. You can get really inexpensive exercise pens from www.petedge.com and www.petsmart.com. Good luck!
