I don't know anything about breeding, so I'm sure that the breeders on here can help you better than I can, but I think 7 years maybe a little old to breed? I'm not sure. Also, I wouldn't breed her with the intention of saving money on another dog. I hear that it is very expensive to breed, especially if somehting unexpectedly goes wrong. Best of luck!
