I feel for you Wendy. Sounds like she's went through alot and she's perfectly fine with staying right on your lap. We know though that we have to look out for the puppys all around state of mind and incorporate some independence for their future. You're right you don't have a problem child. Sounds like her medical problems are over or are better. I'd be working on the same issues as you are. Thinking about it, gosh if it were me I'd start with a little less lap time (less duration at first, so she won't have those feelings hurt) at the same time you can try to add the playtime. Pretty soon you could work on frequency of lap time (12 times a day may be too much) but we know you're gonna want to have her some times. I haven't had to wean one off of me though, so maybe better advise will come. Good Luck to you and this precious baby.
