I think that's a great idea. You'd think just checking your regional forum would be enough, but I've missed a couple of meet-ups because they were in a region next to mine, although only an hour or so away. With a forum, you could just check it from time to time.

It also might help to iniate additional meet-ups.

I'd love it.
