Hello, I'm just figuring this forum out, I've never been active in one before, but I've observed this one many times. We bred our Yorkie Lily the end of November and believe she is pregnant, but the appetite has been a huge problem. She is due Jan. 29, I thought several weeks ago that her belly "popped"

, but she just doesn't seem to be growing much more

. I'll just hang in there, maybe she'll only have one

. I have done so much research over the last few months...diet of puppy food starting at 5-6 weeks seems essential for solid protein and general nutrition (a lot of people add cottage cheese 1 tbsp per day and/or egg)...putting together a whelping area and introducing it early...slowing down rough housing and jumping (I'm finding jumping difficult)...and getting a whelping kit together for the birth--old news papers, towels, bottle/formula if needed, hot water bottle/heating pad, aspirator (if the mom doesn't lick/clean puppy after birth), and a good vet on call! Good Luck and Best Wishes for a healthy pregnancy and delivery!!
