it would stop the tear up parties, which I have had in the past also but it won't stop the "let's play with the pad" party unless they are like my baby one and haveen't figured it out yet. My two six month olds in the living room have a spree every day when i change and put the fresh padds ddown. they start grabbing and running and dragging it everywhere. but, as soon as someonee goes potty on it, they leave it alone.
