Oh yes, my little houdini, Otis, got out from the back yard between the gate post and fence post and TOOK OFF! I chased him, he thought it was a game. I was on my lunch break from work, in big clunky shoes, running down the fence line (it's wooded with a creek and old railroad tracks) I got him into a neighbors yard, I jumped on him and missed. Finally, in tears, I just turned away from him and started walking quickly. He followed me! I got him back, both of us covered in mud and me wanting a beer at 11:30 in the morning. I chicken wired the heck out of my back fence when I got off work that day!!! He also has tried to get under my minibarn where a groundhog was living. Had to barricade that too.

Otis is quite the little escape artist!!! My first yorkie, Spencer was so small he would walk right thru the chain link fence in our backyard like it wasn't even there...Hence the chicken wire...we were prepared the second time around!!!
