I know it sounds hard, but you have to ignore her whimpering. It doesn't feel constructive because you are still not getting any sleep, with her whimpering. But she will get the picture and tire herself out. Coco did that and I learned to ignore her the hard way, after 3-4 weeks of non sleep. It was my fault though, I would pick her up or try to tire her out. I was playing into her little scheme. But a couple of weeks of ignoring her and she sleeps through the night now. |
