When you shampoo run the suds through the hair with long gentle strokes. Squeeze as much water out of the coat before leaving the tub. Blot, don't rub with a towel. Blow dry and don't touch the coat with a brush or comb until it is halfway dry, use your fingers to fluff. Once it is halfway dry use a pin brush to brush the hair as you continue to dry. Never brush a dry coat with a pin brush if necessary use a boar bristle brush. It's best to not let them rub on any thing as this will break coat. Most of the rules that apply to the care of your own hair apply to the care of your yorkies hair as well
