Yeah I used to have people say it to me before I was pregnant too. They always acted like what I was doing with my furkids was meaningless and I wouldnt actually have "true" meaning in my life until I had a human baby.
I'll tell you right now my furkids have brought me great meaning to my life for 5 years now! But anyways its pretty much those same people talking now. They are so excited for me because now I will have a real kids, real maning, etc, etc bla bla bla. They are making me mad and almost ruining my joyous occasion. I dont ever want to see my furkids belittled like that, they are and always will be my kids too.
