So if he's on IV I take it he's in a hospital? Don't worry too much, I know it's hard to watch them when their sick...But don't give up...They shouldn't let him go home until he's able to eat and keep it down. And yes, if they don't find out what's wrong, take him elsewhere...It could be any of many things, but my first thought was an obstruction...they've ruled that out, right? I will be thinking of you and your little boy, my prayers go out to you...be strong for your baby!!!
