These little one's think they are 300 pounds and have no fear. It is extreamly important to not allow them on high places. To a human 3 feet might not seem high but it is to these Yorkies and can lead to many accidents and worse yet death.

Another factor of jumping is Luxating Patella. There are just too many factors with them jumping.

The stairs are a great idea and training device, highly recommended.

We need to make sure we keep our babies safe for sure!!

We as humans and loving owners want them right next to us on the couch or bed. But in a second they leap and bound and all that jumping off things eventually takes it's toll. Grab pillows and throw yourself on the floor at their level, they and yourself will be just as happy and you will know you are keeping your baby safe at all times.
