 Looking for Breeding Advice
I have a female yorkie that I would like to breed. I have found a nice little male yorkie to breed her with. I am looking for any information on breeding, what to expect, how to prepare etc. I have had her checked by a vet and she has given the go-ahead to do this. My only concern is that it appears that my girl has once had a caesarian section. My vet checked her and found a scar. Does this mean that she will have to have another or can she deliver on her own? My vet states that the main concern with this is that if she only carries one puppy, that puppy can become large making it difficult for her to deliver on her own. I want to be fair to my dog and not put her through more hardship than normal. Does anyone have any experience with this? |
