Those toes seem to break quite easily for some reason don't they....Last summer I was chasing my yorkie Jack around the pool because I wanted to go in & he didn't....it was fall so there where ropes stretched across the cement surrounding the pool holding the cover on ( Ya see it coming don't cha?) ..I was running full speed (determined to catch the little sh*t)...& my foot didn't clear the rope ... I fell hard, face first... I had enough time to lift my face up so as to not slam my face into concrete...broke two toes & hit my chin instead, I was so stunned..I had to lay a moment to take a mental inventory to as what was broke...Jack stopped running when I fell, he was watching me lay there as if he knew I was hurt. I couldn't get mad at him...DH laughed when I told him about it
