My granddaughter's puppy, Samantha Love, was only six weeks old when they got her. She had already been taken away from her mother, so nothing would have been accomplished by waiting until she was older. The woman said she had other buyers, so the puppy was going to be sold at six weeks. She did fine, ate well and has not had any problems. She's almost five months old now and is a real sweetie. I worried about how young she was. They watched her closely for low sugar and anything else and she did great. She weighs about four pounds now, I think.
