Many law enforcement agencies chimed and said that for a probation violation for a non violent crime she really only should have gotten a week at most two, that this was a really high sentencing. I think this judge got what he wanted, his name plastered everywhere and it's sad that a lot of people think justice has been served when really justice abused it's power. Again I think she should be punished, but this was overkill. If it was your (general) child, sister, or whomever, you would cry foul, but because it's someone people love to hate, it's satisfying and I think that's wrong. But that's just MHO. |
hmmmm.....I posted above and didn't knock her but feel yes - the rich/famous DO get special treatment but I don't say that to knock them - there's just some that carry themselves with class, and then there's the many that inspire negative comments - like the Paris Hiltons of the world.
It IS hard to feel bad for these spoiled pampered people who think they're better than the rest of the world. They do anything they want and cry when they have to account for it ??
Look at Oprah - she has more money than we could ever imagine and I seriously doubt people would be cheering the justice system on if SHE did this....they'd be on her side - all because of how she carries herself.
