I used to be a representative for Medela. Their pumps are designed so that milk never enters the mechanism. Also, the parts that actually touch the breast and collect milk are all available separately from the mechanism, so you could use all new parts for the milk collection.
There should be no problem with buying a used Medela. Other brands I could not speak for. |
