Ok. This is the first time in our life having 2 dogs at the same time. It is also the first time for us having a female dog. I have a 3 year old male Sheltie (Neo) and a 4 mo. old female Yorkie (Chloe). They seem to be getting along okay, but my Sheltie won't leave Chloe alone! He is constantly sniffing her rear and licking her. She doesn't really seem to mind, but my family and I can't stand it! Does the male dog ever get over this? He is not neutered, but I will be getting Chloe spayed at around 6 mos. of age. Is it just because she smells like a girl? Will spaying her calm my male dog down? Is there anything I can do in the mean time to get him to stop licking her!? HELP please. Thanks
